You can look that up yourself. Click on Communities -> All Communities and search for “FOSS” and it’ll show them. Another search term would be “open-source”.
Edit: And I’m not a mod here, but I think you’ll want to ask these questions in a different community. !newcomers@piefed.zip or !piefed_help@piefed.social are good for beginner questions.
Thank, perfect reply :3
i don’t mind some posts like this one but they fit better !newcomers@piefed.zip & !piefed_help@piefed.social :)
Thank you very much for creating that link. I don’t think there’s any loose community on floss/open source where anything and everything can be discussed.
Lul wat. This site searches only on the lemmy side of things, if I search for “opensource” there are 33 communities: https://lemmyverse.net/communities?query=opensource
It’s literally one of the most discussed topic here. There are multiple general communities, one of the most active is !opensource@lemmy.ml , another one is !foss@beehaw.org
I need to login to comment on those topics. And when l’m logging in, they’re saying that they can’t identify me😔😔😔
Oh of course, sorry. Try this - https://feddit.online/f/linux@piefed.social
Now it’s working great 😃😃.
What do you think of my new community https://feddit.online/c/hack_the_planet_hub ??
I would love you to have you as a moderator there 😃😃😃
Well it depend on everyone free time ^^’
I can’t speak in place of Rimu but maybe he is already busy with piefed development and maintening piefed.social ?
I recommend you creating a post on feddit.online for recruiting mods. You will have to post regulary and if the topic interest people, they will naturally come.
I understand both you as well as Rimu are very busy people. But what do you think of my community https://feddit.online/c/hack_the_planet_hub overall ??😃😃😃
That’s a good start. For now we can’t comment a lot because there is no posts yet. Once you fill with content we will explore, and people that love your topic will join you. :)
You don’t see any post ??🤔🤔🤔

Look through feeds on piefed.social. As you are on another Piefed instance those can federate to your instance
