I’ve been eyeing the Savotta scrim kit for a while now. Last weekend I stumbled on them at my local “Walmart,” grabbed one, and what a difference.
Not sure if I’ll leave them on or not - it looks kinda provocative or suspicious on a hiker/bikepacker - but I’ll definitely add them to my kit to use when needed.
I was also thinking of getting the white ones to wrap around my bike frame for winter.
You should take a sharpie or some other kind of dark marker/paint and make a bold diagonal shape on the backpack clips to break up the overly coherent shape/outline/color of those clips. I might literally walk right by that backpack without seeing if it weren’t for those clips.
That camo matches the woods perfect though!
That’s a good idea.
I messed with the scrims a bit more after this pic and now the straps and clips are under them almost completely but still accessible. I do have some camo tape as well that I could wrap around them.
The M05 camo pattern is literally made for these woods. It does work quite well.
What backpack?
