Be carefull when you mention @fediverse@piefed.social because it creates a new post in !fediverse@piefed.social instead of continuing the current discussion. :)

If this is before you had an account here, and nobody had a follow relationship with the account, it may have never come here.Federation collects messages going forward; it does not reach back to get message history.
You can also add your community to federation.quokk.au to have it sync to other instances for discoverability.
