I was wondering since it’s common to hear Bordiga-style leftcoms be said to be “more Leninist than Lenin.” Bordgists seem to really like Lenin for the most part, so do they or do they not consider themselves “Leninist”?

This is anecdotal but the only person I know who has read significant amounts of Bordiga is relatively critical of Lenin. Their general sentiment is that Lenin was right about most things but had some errors especially in his early works.

Only now found this community, but pretty much yes with a caveat that the common view is that there is no such thing as “Leninism”, for Lenin didn’t really invent anything new and was rather continuation of Marxist tradition. Rather, what is known as Leninism is a bastardization of Lenin’s work by Stalin.

Bordiga also had his party faction split over the national question (which was the burning question in the 20’s), siding with Lenin.
