It’s just a frontend change to allow the creation of 2 TB partitions (up from 32 GB) with Microsoft’s own tools. Nothing in the actual filesystem was changed.

This isn’t newsworthy. They removed a frontend restriction they themselves placed. I’ve been creating fat32 partitions larger than 32gb for a long while on Linux.
