Nope. Male calves get nothing and are murdered within months. Females are fed supplements and medicines so that people cam exploit them just like their mothers.
true for milk breeds, for the “meat” breeds they still milk the cows sometimes so that they can make sure each gets exactly the same ammount milk
A lot lot worse shit happens also
So that’s why I have big calves? I thought it was all the exercise they get pushing my fat body around.
