I’d still forget to take it. And abortion against SOs is probably frowned upon.

The timer going off does not mean it’s time to grab some plates and utensils. Especially if both are between the colander in the sink and this boiling pot of pasta in my hands.
In fact, it’s perfectly fucking fine if the plates and utensils are the last thing to go on the table.
