    Oh man that is a throwback for me. I remember my dad had one just like the penguin but I think it was a duck head instead. I don’t remember the tripod feet, but that is such a good idea for an umbrella and cute with birds.

      Missing colors on the beak, could be a royal penguin too.

        Each colour’s a different piece of plastic, instead of being one piece with paint on, so the colouring has to be simplified, and the beak is low-hanging fruit as it’s obviously a beak even if it’s not as colourful as it should be. The shapes seem to be relatively detailed, though, and the beak shape is closer to that of a puffin than any penguin I can think of.

      Maybe a contradiction between the animal shape and the design requirements for the handle. If they had given the parrot a long neck, it would have looked like an overly stretched out parrot.
