Global airlines worked to fix a software glitch on their Airbus A320 jets as a recall by the European plane-maker temporarily grounded aircraft in Asia and Europe and threatened travel in the United States during the busiest weekend of the year.

    Rollback from ELAC B version 104 to version 103+ after flight B6-1230 from JetBlue had a stabilizer runaway during cruise, apparently due to this software 104 and solar flares.

    Most aircrafts can be serviced overnight as it is just a software change.
