Yuka Sakazaki and Riho also MIA. Red velvet, Billie Starkz can be moved up from developmental. I think someone had recently come over from NXT.
AEW is also notorious for start and stop pushes. How many times has Deeb been on 1 episode of Dynamite then doesn’t show up again for months sometimes years.
Yuka has been wrestling on ROH weekly for over a month now, she’s not sidelined you just aren’t watching her. Billie isn’t in developmental, she’s an ROH regular, has been a champion and has been on AEW and ROH frequently as of late, not sidelined in the least. The nxt person you’re talking about isn’t signed to the company (and also not relevant as she’s not sidelined either given she’d wrestled 3-4 matches for ROH in the last month)
Deeb has no personality and no one gives a shit about her. She is sidelined, cause she’s never been able to actually get over since she’s the burnt toast of the company. Great wrestler, dull as fuck. Her whole gimmick is “I wrestle really good” which doesn’t cut it when those same 4 words cover 80% of the roster.
Red Velvet also not in developmental nor sidelined, she’s *just" recently returned on ROH after being out injured for most of this year and is the ROH tv champ (Mercedes is only the Interim champ).
Riho’s last match was less than 2 months ago so it’d disingenuous as fuck to even bring her into a convo about people being currently sidelined.
“Sidelined” in the context you were orignally using it in (" I don’t understand TK.") is blaming TK for something within his control, for booking choices. “Not being on AEW tv” is a bad metric to define it by as there can be countless reasons for someone to not be on AEW tv outside of “TK doesn’t wanna book them”. There’s been women stuck out of country, injured, pregnant, filming tv shows, prior commitments, and none of those TK has any control over. There’s a few women who can qualify as being “sidelined” for various reasons, a bunch of the women you have named so far just plainly do not fit that category, et al (although fairly, some that you named do, just not all of em).
so my perspective may be incomplete.
It is. ROH may be (at this time, unfortunately) pay tv but it does not exist in a non-canon bubble. What happens on ROH is canon to AEW and vice versa, regardless of if you have to use an app to watch it instead of changing a channel on a television. Hell we’ve had Death Riders matches the last few weeks with wheeler and marina on ROH lol

Sorry, I miscommunicated.
By sidelined I meant not on AEW tv and by developmental I was referring to ROH. It’s AEW’s NXT practically.
I have only been watching AEW main show and so my perspective may be incomplete.
