Imagine people 2000 years from today, using quantum tech for a lot of things, AI, transportation, etc, saying “whoa, can you believe it?! They already had hadron colliders in the 2000s! WHOA!” Then we’d be like, “bitch, all those things you’re enjoying in your time is thanks to us. We are the ones who should be impressed, not the other way around.
