    -They eat up to 3kg (6.6lb) of fish a day – 10% of their body weight.

    -They live in families of a monogamous pair plus offspring from several seasons.

    -Older otters help teach their young siblings to swim.

    -They use 22 different vocalizations to communicate with one another.

    -They can fight off a jaguar.

    -Their habitat is in danger of being lost.

        If I could shake hands with a 6’ tall otter, I think my life would be complete.
