Main dev had twins so no doubt he is sleep deprived at the moment. But you are right, with 0.19 on the horizon liftoff may be dead in the water.

Honestly, I still cannot figure out how to post with thunder… Maybe I’m missing something but when an app doesn’t have a submit a post feature I cannot recommend it.
The only other app comparable is Eternity imho. Also there still is voyager for your respective instances. I frequently use voyager.reddthat.com. which is amazing

Press the i surround by a circle on the right side when in the community view. The new post button is there.
Otherwise enable the floating action button.
Thanks so much! For me it was such an anti-pattern that the create post button wasn’t available on the main screen!

Didn’t check for a longer time… Around 30GB and I was wondering why the hell my phone got full.
I switched to voyager and it has been working out well .
I have been giving Thunder a go for the past few days and it is going well.
Still miss the RIF interface.
6.5 GB this month, bit lower then usual because of holidays.
I’be been searching for alternatives too in anticipation of Liftoff possibly not working with the new server versions.
After trying 4 different apps I think I’m gonna stick with Jerboa for the time being. Its come a long way since summer, it seems to be quite usable and stable now. At least works for my user preferences.
uh oh my cache is 16.9 gb
How do you get Liftoff to not reset to the top of the main page every time you leave the app and return? Even when I’m in a comment section or embedded article and go back I get an error and have to refresh which brings me to the top again.

That annoys me too. When posting and I want to check something in another app and I come back not to my partly written comment, but back to the top of the feed.

Nope, unless jailbroken. I have no idea why apple limits such basic feauturs in ios. Uninstall and reinstall the app.
