Just careful of their political videos, cause they are often poorly reasoned neoliberal propaganda, albiet with excellent production value.

As someone who spent the better part of my life with undiagnosed ADHD, it do be. Although, since I started from a position of recreational use, it is hard to find that line between therapeutic and fun.

Let the scientists and nerds worry about it. In the meantime, have fun with therapy!

wow I’m happy to see that the guy is alive and apparently got himself clean

I remember reading that years ago; I don’t remember how recent it was at the time, but the story went around and he he was offline for longer and longer and no one was sure what had ultimately happened

I don’t see how it’s weird, hypocritical, disingenuous, or in any other way puzzling that different individual people think differently.

I have an aquaintance who is a recovered method user who says that’s probably they way they would want to die, like if they were on their deathbed they’d want to just shoot up and die in bliss or something like that

Different personalities desire different things. To enjoy and want to do heroin, you have to want to suppress the self and be fine with doing nothing. To enjoy and want to do meth, you have to be very into performing, usually capitalism, work, doing things, and be fine sacrificing your health to meth to do so. These are wildly different personalities and desires, so both of their PoVs make total sense

The first sentence sounds a lot like me with weed. It didn’t help anything, but it made me complacent about not doing anything because of my depression.

Well, that’s a bit of a lie. Because of weed I was able to complete the PT for my torn labrum surgery in half the time the surgeon expected. I think I only had to go to like 6 PT sessions before the therapist told me I didn’t need to show up anymore.

It’s the effect weed has on fat soluble vitamins, esp bc it is estrogenic (meaning it encourages your body to find more fat soluble vitamins and store more of them). Vitamin k1 (which has to be balanced w vitamin e) helps with healing a LOT.
