I guess they don’t think they’re going to win any converts preaching about Israel’s patriotic right to defend its Kibbutzim from the ebil Palestinians. I’m not on twitter tho so idk, maybe some are.
💀 to 🇮🇱
This isn’t true though, at least not for the most prominent patsocs on Twitter. Take a look at some of their recent tweets. They have clearly taken a strongly pro-Palestinian position. And credit where credit is due, they are doing a good job exposing Israeli crimes and debunking the Zionist narrative. As i pointed out in another comment, the problem with patsocs is usually not their takes on international issues but on domestic ones, that’s where they are reactionary.
Jackson Hinkle has been very pro Palestine on Twitter. No idea where the other ones fell, but Hinkle has been doing the war monitor grift lately so I’ve had the displeasure of seeing people like retweet him lol
Yeah, I keep seeing Hinkle pop up on my feed and I have to catch myself from liking his tweets because I don’t realize it’s him at first.
Oof, that’s unfortunate.
Hinkle moved up to 2 million followers on twitter. Def astroturfed because he’s not saying anything other accounts haven’t said, but somehow he’s the one who catches all the attention.
Reminder: you don’t have to, under any circumstances, hand it to the patsocs.
They’re blending in. Fascists go through a cycle of trying to push people to the right. When they know their opinions on a situation would not be appalling to most people, they stay quiet, and just go along with the crowd. When it is “safe” for them to do so, they will begin trying to twist facts again. They know that if they were to take a strong and loud stance here, it would be a deal breaker for a lot of vulnerable leftists, or a lot of ignorant lib-lefts. So they bide their time until they find a crisis they can take advantage of, and if they can agree with people now, people will trust them later.
damn that’s some twisted shit but it makes a lot of sense
Neonazis had 80 years to perfect their game, and they taught it to every other brand of fascist. For example, Hitler’s strategy of masquerading as the Left and appealing to workers, is still one used today by many of these sick fucks.
Haz and Hinkle are posting pro-Palestine content but some of the more disturbing ones from Paleocons were taking up pro-Palestine talking points not because of the humanitarian angle, but because they just hate the Jewish a little more than Arabs at this time (and also giving them an excuse for historical revisionism on WW2).
Haven’t they actually been pro-Palestine for the most part? I don’t follow any closely but when they pop up in my feeds that seems to be the trend.
Whether that is an actual support for them or just a “this seems like the popular position so lets grift thataway” I don’t know.
Yes they have. I am confused about this post because i don’t know where the idea comes from that they haven’t spoken out about what is happening in Palestine. The most prominent of them have most definitely been vocally pro-Palestinian. There is plenty to criticize about patsocs without saying things that are untrue, this makes our criticism of them look unserious. The issue with patsocs has never been their foreign policy takes, they are usually pretty good on that front, the problems start when they start talking about domestic policies in settler states like the US and Canada, where they refuse to apply the same anti-colonial analysis they do abroad.
I have no idea how know what’s up with PCUSA without being in the party. I remember they had some settler solidarity with Isntreal, but i doubt they’d have the gall to side with them in such a situation as now. Either way I’ll never know. Thank god they aren’t easily findable online.
