    It’s disgusting how no one cares that a major city was just struck by a massive hurricane with no time to prepare.

    Everyone wants America to mind its own business until the bill comes due for their own decisions. Mexico is a first world country, isn’t it? I’m reading about this in America, aren’t I? What do they want from us here?

    surely Mexico has $10 billion to pay for damages. they’ve got massive petroleum revenues - just oil alone was in excess of $5 billion in 2022 alone.

    why would the US media need to cover Mexico? Mexico has 872 TV stations - why arent they reporting on the crisis? if the coverage isnt being picked up north of the border it may be that no one’s really interested.
