I just browsed the feed for 20 mins after a month off being sober and don’t miss the disguised instagram feed at all - short videos, meme comments, no old forum experience whatsoever. But thankfully we have that on Lemmy now, so Lemmy try that :)

    Reddit is completely unusable outside of old.reddit with RES and sticking to niche subs. I only ever use it when I’m extraordinarily bored and out of lemmy content.

      I hate going there these days. I’m not sure if it was a frog boil or what but the site now is a shadow of the one I left during the big mod exodus. It’s terrible now, so much less info, user base has devolved, riddled with ads.

      I imagine if I was still there all the crap would feel normal but having left Incan see what huge changes have been made and how much the quality of the site has tanked.
