    Is the KDE logo legally protected by the way?

      i just looked and it says

      The KDE logo can be used freely as long as it is not used to refer to projects other than KDE itself. There is no formal procedure to use it. Copying of the KDE Logo is subject to the LGPL copyright license. Trading and branding with the KDE Logo is subject to our trademark licence.

        OK, so it is trademarked and the company is using it illegally (not that I believe KDE e.V. should sue, probably a waste of time and money).

    That is so stupidly common in the US for trucking companies too. You see trademark infringement left and right because most are single man operations and they assume nobody will do anything about it. They’re pretty much right. I saw a Supreme™ logo for a trucking company.

    if it can run my desktop, I’m sure I trust it to do whatever it is that company does
