Controversial, but I don’t think any children should go on dates or pay taxes.

Depends on your personal definition of child. 16 is definitely a teenager. For many people, those are distinctly different stages and do not overlap. A middle segment between child and adult. Whereas a different descriptor like minor would apply to both children and teenagers.

In the grand scheme of things, life experience, etc, yeah. 16 (or even 19) is still a child. But there’s actually a huge difference in a teenager vs a single-digit child in terms of how they think and act. But I definitely shouldn’t have lent my car to my 5 year-old nephew, I see that now…

My son is severely autistic, and at almost 9 years old is functionally nonverbal. He may never go on a date, or pay taxes. That said, trashing the solid science of vaccines and wasting time dicking about and cutting grants for research does absolutely nothing to help us help him or help society better understand his condition. Such a bunch of cunts.

I’ll also add for shits and giggles that he and his two older (neurotypical) siblings are fully vaccinated and currently not rotting away with measels. RFK Jr and the twit that plopped him behind the wheel of our national health apparatus are in my opinion enormous shit sandwiches.

Isn’t Musk on the spectrum? I suppose he doesn’t pay taxes (or at least his fair share), but he appears to have had a few dates.

Just putting out again that RFK Jr. - head of the HHS - looks and sounds the embodiment of sickness and un-health. Edit: Just realized what he reminds me of - the chain-smokers in anti-smoking ads that burned a hole in their throat.
