From Raptor Center of Tampa Bay

A young barred owl came out of the tree 12 days ago. It had a sibling and a parent, but he could not stay up in the tree. The nest was not found so he came into rehab. So when he was big enough to climb up and all around the tree, we decided to return it back home today and the reunion with its family was successful. It climbed right up and mom’s showing maternal instincts. We are so happy when we can return babies to their family.

          I hear arguments we shouldn’t be kind to machines the way we would humans, but it’s hard for me to abide by not being kind to anything we can. I commend your polite bot treatment! 😇

          As far as I can see, you did everything right. A user can only vote for somebody once, you get one vote every 24 hr exactly, and it is not case sensitive, so I messaged the bot’s owner to try to get it straightened out. I’ve caught it acting up before.
