How is any of this ok?? So they are picking children up off the street now? This is a nightmare we are living in.

Man claiming to be ice agent harassed my friend’s kid who was walking home from school as she only lives a couple blocks away. She said she felt sick/scared when he was ordering her to get into the car when she didn’t have a passport to show him. Is she supposed to walk up to a stranger’s car and show her passport?? He “didn’t look like police” so she ran home, thank god, but she’s too terrified to go to school now. So these goons are out here traumatizing kids. The weird thing is, he didn’t pursue her when she ran so is he even with ice or some sick person impersonating ice since they conveniently don’t have to show a badge or a warrant to take someone away?

My friend and her kid are US citizens, not that this makes any of it better because this should not be happening to any child. It’s sick that people out there think this is ok. I don’t want to give a location to protect the privacy of this family but this took place in a suburb outside a sanctuary city.

This is beyond deeply concerning. It’s dystopian.
