I get it, for entities with at least two tentacles and no spine it makes total sense but we humans need something that is actually soft and has the cold zones for your hands.

Hardness is a lot less important than shape, IMO. Well, I suppose a pillow that’s too soft to hold a shape is very bad, but that still comes back to shape, y’know?

I find these shapes of pillow quite comfortable, though they tend to be memory foam which stops me from using them since I find memory foam just feels warm.
For a side sleeper: The big side goes in the gap between your shoulder and head, to support your neck, and your head then lays on the rest of the pillow. Keeps your spine more aligned, much like a pillow between the knees
Doesn’t work like that sister. If you lie on your side and put that thing where the neck is then your will stop feeling your arm and then whole hand and you will permanently lose it forever. I need that limb for some time yet
