I was concerned because its tail looks matted or dirty or something, but it looks like the upper part of their tails are black, and this one appears to have a tracking device on it. Apparently their numbers are dwindling, but researchers are looking to find out about their lifestyles to help preserve their habitat and do some reintroduction. So overall not wonderful news, but this lil one is probably healthy and will be helping build resilience for the species.
