Channel 13 reported that Israeli police suspect stabbing in Jerusalem’s Old City was motivated by anti-Christian hatred.

The attacker, a Jewish man, stabbed the victim—who is turned to be also Jewish but was mistaken thinking she’s a Christian—leaving her seriously injured.

Recently, attacks against Christians and their religious sites by settlers in Jerusalem have increased mostly against the Armenians and there are reports of Jewish youths spitting on Christian clergy and nuns have also surged.
