And I don’t know why so many people still think they can’t.

I’ll jump in here and point out that the militarism decried in the song is one of the less-applicable criticisms of Trump. If anything the criticism is that he’s too willing to take Putin’s side, not that he’d lead us to nuclear war. At least not intentionally.

If you want a more Trump-appropriate 80s punk song to select lyrics from I might suggest “Kill the poor” by the Dead Kennedys (referring to the apocryphal notion of using neutron bombs to eliminate the poors without harming property values). Although honestly if you wanna get some proper hot takes on maga you’ll do best dispensing with the 80s entirely and going with NOFX.

Do you need me to list the number of countries Trump has threatened to invade and/or ethnically cleanse in his first 2 weeks, or can you fill in the blanks yourself? You might also want to look up the statistics of Trump’s use of military drone strikes in the middle east before you continue spewing regurgitated nonsense about how non-militaristic he is.

The stupid fact is that the dipshit dumbfuck piss-for-brains American populace has once again elected an unhinged authoritarian fascist oligarch (this time with a democratic mandate) putting us on the brink of a new civil and/or world war, socioeconomic collapse, climate annihilation, and the fall of the American republic. The subhumans who voted FOR him did it, as did the subhumans who failed to vote AGAINST him. And to that, I can only say nice work morons, you did it to yourselves.
