I used to follow/admire jwz but he can be so toxic/pedantic. Never really interacted with him because of how we would sometimes reply to people and block them. Hideki Kamiya vibes.
Don’t take me wrong, he is in his right of blocking whoever he wants, but it would just make me feel bad how some interactions would go with him.
He also is oddly enraged about Debian including slightly old versions of Xscreensaver in stable. I get his reasons - dumb people will submit bug reports for things that might already be fixed - but also, Debian has a promise to keep and is well within their rights since the software is FOSS.
