Not using metric is so much more fun:

• water freezes at 32, boils at 212
• 16 cups in 1 gallon (both standard units of measurement)
• 1 (US) cup of water is 8 (US) oz
• 1 (US) cup of water is 14.4375in^3

Makes your maths so much more exciting!!
