Hmm… Maybe you need to precise the instance name : @testfediverse@jlai
Either that or you need to intialise federation btw this community and your Mastodon instance.

Friendica and mastodon seem to shorten the @ after it’s posted, as I do specify the full path to jlai.lu.
You were right about needing to link the instances first! After I searched this community and followed it from mastodon, my comment went through. :D
