I’m a bit uncertain of that. Aren’t there some in indigenous communities that trend Republican, especially in certain rural red states.
I live on a rural red state rez and here tribal members vote around 80% D
there are probably exceptions (cherokee/seminole vote more conservative maybe?) but as a general rule indians do not vote republican
Cherokee and Seminole were what I was thinking about. And just a gut feeling that the indigenous vote just doesn’t break like, say the African American vote does, like 85/90-10.
