I haven’t seen this kind of scratched liberalism since the outrage against account pronoun preferences years back.

Maybe “struggle session” is the wrong term because there’s a clear and obvious side for comrades and another for scratched liberals.

Maybe Hexbear needs occasional flypaper sessions for the community’s health.

I feel like the misogyny really tends to come out most whenever there’s a discussion around cishet dating, which is interesting. Cishet dating seems like a mess, but I think it’s something that goes unexamined maybe because of how personal it is to those involved.

I’m not sure how familiar you are with the “bro code” but a lot of the so-called rules that dudebros put out from it reek of ruinously relationship-sabotaging indoctrination. One of the most glaring examples is the edict that infidelity is something that bros are never supposed to disclose to the girlfriends or spouses of other bros, even after bros brag about it with each other and even encourage such behavior.

Paradoxically, one of the most common cliches of the “bro code” is “never trust a woman.” susie-baffled

Cishet dating threads are uninteresting to queer people so I think the cishet brainworms can spread mostly unchallenged in there
