I found what looks like the entire stream! It’s been unlisted though (I think Matt and the Chapo crew feel a bit embarrassed by Matt’s, uhh… performance on stream which is why it’s mostly been scrubbed)
Will desperately trying to stop Matt’s ramblings will forever be one of my favourite Chapo moments. Just the point where will gives up and puts his head in hands and says “no no no…” not long after the “kill yourself and everyone around you”
Also I forgot how good Virgil was at holding down the fort while chaos happened all around him, as well as keeping a straight face when asking ridiculous questions.
The surprising bit is mainly how quickly they drifted apart last year, like Virgil and Matt were doing a bunch of guest appearances together right up until Bernie lost and the pandemic started in the US in full. Virgil was also the main force behind the Chapo book, he just seemed integral to the “brand”
Listening to the tragic arc of the “Beltway Garage” is surreal now. In the March 2020 Episode (with the quaratine cube) Matt is just palpably incensed by the fact that Virgil still cares so much about electoral politics.
Yeah I saw that one. Although it has the same exact vibe and is probably funnier, it just left me wanting the uncut thing.

Will’s worried glances to his side and Virgil’s embarrassment are comedy gold
