Note: I haven’t tried this myself cause I don’t have all the equipment needed (or should I say haven’t thought of how to replace them, perhaps?). Still, it does seem pretty doable.

    Considering the issues separating the mycelium from the organic growth medium, my first thought was, is it possible to grow hydroponically? This may make later steps a bit easier.

      I’ve kept mycelium alive for months in a jar of sterile water, so i assume with the right nutrients it would be able to propagate, although i can’t find anyone who has reported on it or posted a video.

      good question.

      oh, but growing mycelium sheets on agar is very common, so there is a way to grow a mat of mycelium without having to use a complicated substrate.
