Just ran across this in the newcommunities discussion. Figured I’d jump start a thread for people to chime in on.
- What have you been playing lately?
- Anything you’re looking forward to?
- What do you wish you could play, but never have the time or players?
I played the new Slay the Spire board game with 4p co-op recently. It’s basically the video game, but you have to manually keep track of everything. I think if you like the vg version you’ll like the bg version and vice versa.
I also played my first game of Oath recently. Since there are so many win conditions, on the first playthrough, it can be difficult for everyone to understand what they should be doing (similar to root). One thing everyone knew for sure was that they didn’t want to become a citizen…until it got near the end of the game and someone said “oh shoot, I should have become a citizen!” I’ll definitely need another few games to get a feel for it.
I love the art of Leder Games and have pre-ordered Arcs. I hear it’s a bit polarizing. Will have to give it a shot.
- Mysterium Park is a lot of fun, I much prefer it over the original one, and it fits the casual Dixit appeal for my friends!
- French translation for Arcs, I hope the company handling it will not make errors like with their previous release, which was Oath, and needed a separate sticker pack to fix their mistakes
- Speaking of which, yeah, I bought Oath, and I have yet to play it…
After over a decade i got to play my most liked card game again. Wizard
Ah. The classic
Our copy of Undergrove has been sitting there waiting for us, and we really want to play it, but haven’t found the time lately as we have a two month old …

Recently played Bunny Kingdom, that was a lot of fun. Card drafting to build your empire.
I am hoping to play Gnome Hollow, and Nocturne in the coming week.
After not playing it for a while, I found some people that want to play Shadows of Brimstone and our first session is this Saturday. 6 regulars and one irregular for the schedule.
