I don’t wish death to anybody but, if he croaks of dementia before November it would be pretty funny.

My only concern is that they’d decide he’s a martyr and claim the deep state killed him…

Seriously, is there no way out of this bs?

I try to look at it like this: before 2016, I thought this level of hatred, bigotry and cruelty was an outlier in the right. That most of them just wanted tax cuts and weren’t hood wearing racists. I’ve since learned that the “outliers” are the party and the “moderates” are the actual outliers.

You are white I take it? This was obvious to me (as a mixed race but not white passing person, with a very foreign sounding name) since before the GW years.

Yes. Like many other suburban white folk, I had an all too naive view on racial issues. While I didn’t think all racist issues had been solved, I didn’t realize how bad things actually were.

I appreciate your honesty here. I keenly remember the post 9/11 rhetoric being the big driver for my immigrant father to stop voting republican, unfortunately for many it takes something really hitting home in order to recognize what was there all along.

No. It doesnt matter when or how he dies its going to be thought to have been the deep state. I mean some of these people believee JFK and JFK Jr are still alive and will come back to rally for Trump.

        We are doomed

If he croaks first of all Id be partying but I’d also think this make the election even more of a crap shoot as many light conservatives will go with the Republican candidate instead of Biden or abstaining, not to mention Bidens campaign centers how bad Trump is, if hes gone there goes the effect of millions of campaign dollars.

Too good for him, instead we watch him getting increasingly unhinged while his empire crumbles, and while he loses elections and the felonies pile up.

If he dies of natural causes before the election, no one that supports him, which is roughly half the country by the way, will believe it, and domestic violence will dramatically increase as well paranoid conspiracy theories.

I frankly hope he stays alive and is somehow, miraculously beaten by a significant margin.

      Why would it be funny?

I’m genuinely curious, and I know explaining a joke is to ruin it.

Edit: downvoted by people who take things way too seriously. I hate Trump, in case it needs to be said.

Trump has been saying that Biden is mentally unfit for office for the entire campaign. I always assume that everything Trump says is projection, though, so every time Biden is accused of having dementia by Trump it makes me more certain that Trump has it.

Same way he went around (and still goes around) saying his opponents need to be locked up, yet he is the one with the felony conviction.

Doubtful. If he loses this election we’ll suddenly find out that all this vicious slander about him being mentally unsound, incontinent, and syphilitic is actually true, and is justification for him to never see a day in an actual prison, even if he loses all his other cases.

Because after so many years of ass licking, he is the only chance the republicans have of holding the oval office in the foreseeable future. That and also the reactions and the meltdown of his cult would probably be funny as hell.
