        I do not care about the feelings of fascists and that includes making them feel bad

        They go in the hole where they can’t hurt anyone anymore and that’s the end of it

        For me it’s a thing of severity and of possibility of getting the wrong guy. War crimes so often there’s no question of if or who, it’s a matter of public record, they wrote it down and had it published.

          Yeah that’s what I’m getting at. It doesn’t sit right with me that someone can be so brazenly monstrous and “only“ get a life sentence in a relatively comfortable cell (which I’m otherwise fine with since rehabilitation centers shouldn’t be hell on earth).

          That said, being in a cell til you die might be considered a fate worse than death depending on the person so…
