I’ve cancelled my subscription yesterday, conveniently it was about to renew at the end of the week, so I have a few days to migrate from Proton, here’s what I’m thinking of, but I’d love to hear what other people are switching to

can i ask for more details about the email address and generic names thing? I’m not sure i understand whar you mean sorry
Basically there’s no way you could get an email address of just: [first][last]@gmail.com on Gmail, because there are so many users of Gmail. That’s not the case for newer services with less users.
