The Design of Everyday Things. I finally got my hands of a french edition. I’m reading it slowly but I’m already done with the first half.

Yes. It was a suggested reading from my university years and I’m only starting it now. It is very interesting.

I felt saw when the author said that ingenieurs and self-called very rational people refuse to take in consideration the beauty of a product they are making when it is usable and useful, yet that natural first attraction or repultion of an object depending of its physical appearance is very real and rationally should be taken into account. This was me a 100%. I’ll try to improve on that if I could only remember one thing out of this book.

Awesome, thank you for sharing. The aesthetics is for sure a big part what the text touches on, while still focusing on the experience being usable and useful. Enjoy the read, as a design nerd I genuinely look forward to reading your thoughts when you’ve finished!
