Nazi’s only really used one style of swatiska. It’s not too hard to differentiate if you don’t knee jerk. Any Hindu and Navajo person really only needs to avoid one specific style.

The swatiska is a very cool looking symbol, and it being unusable for decades is a crime against design.

in East Asia it has always been associated with religion and temples, not sure about south Asia where it came from

I think a few of those are different enough you could probably use them, pretty sure I have seen something sweeping similar to the Chinese one before.
