I’ve propagated a dozen different plants but this one just won’t happen for me. I’m using all the methods I’ve had success with elsewhere and always end with a dead vine.
I’ve tried right into soil, right into water. Letting a cutting dry overnight. Dabbing rooting hormones on it. Sharing a cup with other rooting plants. Nothing!
So if you’ve had success, what did you do? Did you find it any harder to propagate than others?

is your cutting tool clean ?
I’ve done it several times from a mother plant with success, in water and in soil, like in this tuto (https://www.bloomingbackyard.com/propagate-monstera-adansonii/)
Did not have any issue
Yep, I’ve got my special plant cutters that I keep clean with alcohol! They aren’t rotting away, they wither away before ever making a root.
I skimmed the page (will read it later) and saw a few tips I haven’t seen. I haven’t been bagging it and I haven’t tried laying it down flat on the soil!
