Minorities don’t escape difference-based intolerance either. I have heard old wave immigrants hate on new wave immigrants coming from the same country. It is some kind of mix of boomer intolerance (“they don’t know how we struggled at our time”), mirroring of the hate they received themselves, and fear of getting their acquired privileged stolen by new comers.
