People are comparing it to the killing of Charlie Kirk.

No. This is actually a lot worse. Several staffers of a political party were arrested for murder.

Just imagine what would happen if Democratic Party employees were arrested for killing Charlie Kirk

LFI is considered “radical left” or “extrème gauche” in French. Mélanchon openly speaks about having a revolution “via the ballots as well as via the street”.

"Extrême gauche " means “far left”. Which is not the same as radical.

Far left is against capitalism and believe than the revolution is not possible by voting.

LFI is not considered as far left by the real far left parties. They do not consider themselves as so.

The only parties that call them “far left” are the ones trying to discredit them to people that are afraid of far left.
