    Personally I’m waiting for a larger mass of workers, and especially of proletariat in the armed forces to awaken. And by waiting I mean studying theory to be better at propaganda (for the lack of a better term).

    Back in 1917, a very significant portion of the Russian army deserted or was otherwise not inclined to fight for the government. The situation now is different

      What are you trying to say the last paragraph? The Russian army is not ML anymore.

        I think the point they’re trying to make is that currently the army is likely to kill any proletarian uprising were it to happen, where as back in 1917, the Russian army was fed up and wasn’t about to mow down their countrymen at the orders of the same people who marched them to their deaths on the Eastern front.

          Oh, you mean that previously the Russian army was more class conscious, but that changed
