    Thank you!
When I started to learn to recognised plant, I realised how much they were around me. I used to thought I had grasses and bushes around me but now I can visually recognised in the same spots tens of different plants. Many of them I don’t know the name yet. And when I try to inspect carefully a patch of “grass”, I realise I still miss out so many more because somehow I’m blind to it.

Since, I’ve developed a theory that (despite the very real declined of biodiversity), there is also a perceived declined in biodiversity taking root in the lost ability of many people to see plants.

Learning about and recognizing the different plants around you can be extremely beneficial too. I recommend books for identifying local plants species, so many have medicinal and nutritional value. Call it gaining your “plant vision” lol!
