When LibreOffice won the fork war back in 2010, Oracle abandoned OpenOffice and the Apache Foundation took it under its governance in 2011. But OpenOffice is basically dead nowadays (last version is almost 2 years old with known vulnerabilities), all the development effort is focused on LibreOffice.
