It’s not meant to be taken literally, it’s a figure of speech that expresses frustration in hearing about corporate software in circles I would expect to collectively know better.

Come to think of it, this is in fact a capture from twitter or bluesky (I guess?), so it could be anyone and my expectations were a bit fantastic

Its a weird corner of the internet where people are very opinionated, that just goes with the territory :)
