Sounds like Punkt MP02 which has its own Signal client, but I’ve never seen any real feedback on it

Strong Martin Paar vibes 😆
Edit: Sorry for the duplicate comment, my connection was unstable, I think that’s why
The main difference is that GrapheneOS focuses on hardened security (sandboxed Google Play Services, their own browser Vanadium, etc.) and only runs on Pixels, CalyxOS stays closer to stock AOSP, prioritizes privacy with things like microG as a Google services replacement and supports more devices like the Fairphone and some Motorolas
I’m in the same boat. They suggest Seedvault, which I haven’t tried yet. I’ll do the factory reset when I don’t crucially need my phone, I’ll take it as an opportunity to declutter a bit. I don’t need much for a functional setup. The painful part will be manually re-entering the config for my WebDAV server. Definitely not ideal, though.
To be fair I’ve used both and I get the complaints aimed at each philosophy. At some point, I’m just grateful these projects exist at all and for free. Personally I still think microG is nice to have, flaws and all. My Motorola lasts four days on one charge and I have a gut feeling that not having Play Services constantly running is part of why. Either way you’re better off than stock
Je me permets de copier-coller tel quel un commentaire que j’avais déjà écrit ailleurs.
I’m extremely satisfied with mailbox.org!
They support all standard email protocols (IMAP, POP3, SMTP) even Sieve for server-side filters, so you can use any mail client you prefer rather than being locked into official apps. They offer CardDAV for contacts and CalDAV for calendars, and their drive can be mounted via WebDAV.
Pricing is reasonable and personal domains are supported.
L’avantage de supporter des protocoles standards est de ne pas être dépendant du développement d’un client. Typiquement, j’utilise leurs protocoles WebDAV simplement pour synchroniser mes notes, que ce soit sur ordinateur ou sur téléphone.
I also tackled restoring a chair that had a thick layer of paint. The seat was split, so I repaired it with domino joiners. Removing the paint was a real struggle: I started by scraping, then disassembled the parts, which was difficult because the old glue joints wouldn’t come apart cleanly. The turned, symmetrical pieces I was able to refinish on the lathe, but for the rest I spent hours sanding the carved curves. It turned out to be pine underneath, so it wasn’t worth the effort.

7·5 months agoI second this. Version 1.0 was only released a year ago. I gave it another try and was pleasantly surprised!
What is your setup? It looks really light!

The best 😁
