Been a while since I played it, but I don’t think there’s any jumpscares, and definitely no deadly things that follow you around. It’ll get tense, but it won’t screamer you. It’s the overall vibe that’s scary, very existential, much dread.

Or the Protomolecule.

Idunno I’ve been trying to figure that out. Something like ‘You are required to keep a dog on a leash at all times’, but that doesn’t really make sense, and wouldn’t fit the broken off part, assuming the text is centre-justified and the original shape of the sign.
