Salvagepunk
I rehab old machines, use open software, read forgotten books, and incorporate discarded ideas to build things that work for my everyday life. Our future will not arrive complete. Sometimes we gotta salvage the parts and patch it together ourselves.

2·12 days agoHis death, at a care facility, was from complications of a 2015 biking accident in which he sustained severe head trauma, said his wife, Jacqueline Phelan, a writer and former national off-road biking champion who is his only immediate survivor.

1·12 days agoI bought an old cheap Thinkpad 8GB RAM 256GB SSD on ebay.
Changed out the battery and put Linux Mint on it. Total costs, including new battery was around $130. I love this thing! Now it’s my everyday driver.
Love the idea, but too expensive for me.

lol I know the artist was just going for concept and all, but yeah, that’s… a lot.
