As always, liberals think getting rid of one leader and replacing them with another magically changes the soul of the spirit of a nation and sets it on a completely different track anew.

You can tell it was actually done by the IOF through the use of passive voice describing the event here
Sometimes people have just… Tossed a few bags whole into cement mixing trucks. Kind of difficult to explain if you get questioned at a construction site with a trunk full of bags of sugar tho
Oh it definitely is a sign of wrongdoing, just not necessarily proof of wrongdoing.
It’s subtle, but when gender dysphoria is framed as a condition to be “cured” and processed through conversion therapy (to return the person “back to normal”), instead of symptoms which are best treated through gender affirmation and transition.

1·4 months agoI believe AWS has a decent degree of autonomy to run itself even though it is a subsidiary of Amazon. Since they’re the ones actually designing and building its AI datacenters, I wouldn’t be surprised if they have a slightly different outlook as the part of the company that sees how the sausage is made.

I dislike being put above others and celebrated just for existing. You don’t owe me a cheap throwaway gift, I don’t owe you dinner and a slice of cake. Maybe that’s a cynical way of looking at it but I genuinely don’t like the consumeristic aspects nor having that much attention thrown my way. I don’t want to make a big deal out of it. It’s just another day.
I still appreciate if you get me a gift but idk girl 95% of the time that turns into a $10 gift card or me putting in most of the effort in telling you what I want. I’m really bad at gift ideas for myself because if I wanted/needed it that bad, I would have figured out how to get it myself or made peace doing without. Cute socks are always nice though!

3·11 months agoIndividuals are relentlessly marketed to by targeted ads psychologically designed to get them to purchase disposable, useless slop, but sure let’s just say it’s their fault for falling for it.
I don’t understand how this post isn’t supposed to be political, or at least make reference to it/invite discussions of it. What are we all upset about, forming an army and going out there to “sort out”? Why are things bad to the point where, were this a movie, the superheroes arrive?
Because to me (and several others) the answer is clearly politics, the current political trends and movements.
We’re not angry for no reason, but in fact for a series of very valid political reasons. I won’t get into the specifics since it’s against the rules, but I don’t think it’s very fair to make a post gesturing at the state of the world, in a way that says we should get involved, and then telling people they can’t discuss what we’d actually do because the solutions are political. To insist otherwise feels to me like we’d be protesting just to protest with no actual goals.
