I hear your point friend, I think you can say that about a lot of people in US politics.

I hear your point friend, I think you can say that about a lot of people in US politics.

Disagree, I think you have your timeline mixed up.
The 2016 election occurred well after Occupy Wallstreet, and Bernie Sanders and the progressive wing in the democrats felt snubbed in 2016, which is why many of them stayed home.
I know this because I was one of them, and I will have to live with that decision for the rest of my life.
Edit: I am not realizing you might be referring to the 2008 primary election, I’m talking about the 2016 presidential election here and in my original comment. Contextually it (your response) makes sense based on the date of the video, so I get your point, but not what I was talking about.

Are you from the United States? I don’t mean this any kind of way besides in the United States the Clintons (H and W) are both dead and buried, their most recent discussion was about Bill’s ties to Eppstein.
They aren’t going anywhere politically anytime soon.

I think they’re making a joke about people’s dads and grandpas being maga, but I think he missed the WWII uniform joke.

As a self proclaimed leftist who has been to many protests, I have never once heard anyone say the word Antifa except for my Maga boss when he thought Antifa was going to come and rob his house after the BLM protests…

LOL
considering my biggest loss from Reddit was Cannabis communities, I can relate to the brain damaged perspective.
(I do not think cannabis causes brain damage, but I have been known to say some dumb shit while stoned).

I would be dumbfounded if she managed to place well in a primary election, people are also allowed to evolve their views.

I mean there are reasons she lost the 2016 election, part of it was the progressive wing staying home, this is pertinent from that lens, but I’m not sure what else?

Sometimes people respond with contextually sensible words, but its almost like they didn’t actually read what I said, just the topic of what I said.
I have been chalking it up to international userbase and possible translation issues, but maybe I’m encountering some bots? I would say its about 1/10 of my responses is kind of… Off?

as long as the investment mortgages aren’t sub prime 🙃

thank you, hence my suggestion lol

You squash incremental progress with no alternative offered.

facts, I was looking to buy a used pickup, I’m seeing pickups from the year 2000 going for 8000-11,000, granted these are the high end with low miles for their age, but they are still ancient by vehicle standards.

I feel like we need a lot more of them, so they can be responsible to a reasonably sized group of people.
Right now they represent so many of us they can just pretend to ignore us and only listen to the rich donors.
If there are a thousand reps it gets a lot more expensive to rig elections and buy votes.

Yeah prices have me looking at hybrids tbh, I wish hydrogen fuel cells wouldn’t of petered out so badly int he USA, seems like a great concept.

this exactly, there isn’t an EV I could afford without a massive loan, in the United States, really interested in seeing how the Slate turns out tho, I have high hopes and low expectations.

we… shoot them with… our guns?

thanks for the info, unable to get there via work permits or ancestry, but would love to be a Canadian lol, one day maybe.

Isn’t this what jeff Bezos is doing with fractional real estate investment, except evil?
Not pooping on the idea, I would totally toss money towards a fractional mortgage to help someone else get a home, just noting how the upside down universe version of this idea is already out there.

oh wow, the subject matter is not funny at all, but the joke is… Goddamn got me here.
